Rashtriya Sarpanch Sansad has been founded as an academic endeavour, a platform for inviting dialogues, exchange of information, new learnings, and discussions on a wide variety of subjects related to local self-government.
EMPOWERING VILLAGES FOR NATION DEVELOPMENT
This is an initiative taken by Shri. Rahul V Karad is a platform for dialogues and exchange of information on a wide variety of subjects related to local self-government. The aim is to provide solutions to core problems in the grassroots such as the lack of basic infrastructure for day-to-day living and holistic development. The conferences took place in 2017, 2018, and 2020. It’s a part of the organization’s CSR responsibilities and paves the way to bridge the gap between India and Bharat by focusing on empowering Sarpanches and creating model villages and promoting open dialogues among all participants. This platform offers everyone an opportunity to learn what positive initiatives and problem-solving steps are being taken by others in their respective area and hence empower villages for National development.

The Sansad aspires to create Model Villages at every Taluka (Block) level. These Model Developed Villages would be on the lines of decentralization of power and Rural Empowerment as proposed by Mahatma Gandhi. These villages
will in turn act as Role Models for growth of other less developed villages in the vicinity.
To Empower Sarpanch for betterment of villages by supporting underdeveloped area of India with all stakeholders of
Panchayati Raj in order to create more model villages across India.
The sansad is set up to sensitize students about the issues at the very core of rural areas and groom them for leadership role in the future. Sarpanch Sansad is a step forward in the same direction and has empowerment of Sarpanches as its objective. The platform involves open dialogues between all its participants, affords everyone an opportunity to learn what positive initiatives and problem-solving steps are being taken by others in their respective areas,
Nasik 2018
Focus Areas
The Rashtriya Sarpanch Sansad kickstarted at Nashik in 2018 and brought many relevant discussions including a method to build a model village.
Rural development and Technology, finance and planning, Model village, water resource formation are some of the focus areas.
