Its inception was based on the idea of Shri. N. Chandrababu Naidu, Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Shri. Rahul V. Karad, Managing Trustee, MAEER’s Group and Executive President, MITWPU. The first conference took place at Amaravati (AP) in 2017 and the second in Mumbai in 2021. The first conference of NWP was a three-day gathering designed to bring together women from different backgrounds and give them a forum for discussion, debate, mentoring, and ongoing assignments on all themes and concerns specific to women.  It became the largest convention in the world to unite more than 18,000 socio-politically conscious young girls and women with more than 200 women legislators, more than 50 women members of parliament, and more than 200 women social and corporate leaders from India and abroad.
